Hello, my name is Caroline.

I worked within the NHS for over 25 years as a Dental surgeon. My work brought me into contact with a variety of people and patients including those with anxiety, phobias, mental illness, and special needs. An interest in hypnosis led me to attended a number of workshops on the subject and I was able to use some of the techniques learnt. An interest in the working of the brain led to a qualification as a Dementia Link Worker in 2014.

I also have a qualification in Clinical Aromatherapy and practice Aromaptherapy.

My exploration in to alternative and complimentary medicines sparked a specific interest in to hypnotherapy. I decided to train as a Clinical Hypnotherapist at the Clifton Practice in Bristol, the leading clinic in the South West for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

Studying at Clifton practice leads to a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH). I have also achieved a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma awarded by the national council for hypnotherapy. I am a member of the Association of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and adhere to their code of conduct, performance and Ethics.

Good communication is the key to success. This is not only true of life in general but especially when you are working with people. To listen with patience and empathy leads to understanding and trust, I bring these skills with me into the therapy room.
